I was recently approached by The Skinny to produce a christmas card design for the december issue. Its pretty gloomy, this wasn't the intention! However It was produced in November so I wasn't in a particularly Christmassy spirit! I think it more reflects the gloom of cold and dark days during the UK winter...
Illustration for The Skinny, July Issue, for an article about buying illegal drugs and having them delivered to your door using the internet. Article entitled; Digital Underground.
The Crack magazine March issue is out now, if your in Newcastle grab a copy and have a look at my David Cameron illustration. Im also about to start a new illustration to be featured in the next issue of ammo magazine.
So in an attempt to be more vocal with this blog I plan to write a little more with updates of what I have been up to. The last couple of weeks have been fairly busy, just finished a commission for Newcastle based music/culture magazine 'The Crack'. I will post that once it has been released
in print. The illustration I did for Volume Magazine should also be out soon. Im currently in the process of creating a new portfolio website as the other one is pretty dated now...and seems like it is not working, which means I probably haven't paid the bill.
Im also in talks with some writers and music experts to create a magazine based in Brighton, more info to come. And T.I.T.O.N issue 16 will be out next week.
This is the latest edition of The Inside Thoughts of Now, a collaboration between
myself and writer Thom Kofoed. This one is about a fear of the dark and in my opinion my favourite so far for my part. Check it and other work out at www.creaturemag.com
